I know you said in your ad for listens/comments you recorded this @ home so I wasn't going to comment on the production quality. Unfortunately it's too difficult to hear the song enough to really comment on due to the levels.

I guess what I'd ask is what you used to record this?

It is rather difficult to make out the recording but from what I can hear it sounds like you guys are just rocking with a tape recorder or something to capture it all. How very punk :)) (Very Happy) Clapping

If you post the lyrics to this (I'll just check if you already have) it'd be easier to follow Nodding
A better recording would be nice but keep up the enthusiasm for your music, you obviously enjoy what you do :)) (Very Happy)

Ahh, this takes me back to my punk days. In highschool my friends and I made several recordings like these. sounds like you've got some talent there, but you do need to find a better way to record it. here's some cheap @ss recording advice from someone who's been there: go to radio shack, drop the 40 bucks or so for a cheap 4-channel mixer. mic your amps and run them through two channels, one for guitar and one for bass. Hang a mic above the drum kit and run it through channel 3, then run your vocal mic through 4. connect the output from the mixer to whatever your recording with, adjust the levels, and rock on. It won't be pro-quality, but for the price of two cases beer you should be able to cut a pretty decent demo... not that i drank beer in highschool... Laughs Out Loud

It sounds like a fun song. You must have had a blast recording this. Thusly, the song captures an element lost in most anal retentive, glossed-over recordings that I hear on the radio. I'm not a huge fan of pop punk (though I love the Descendents), but I'd much rather listen to songs like this than the Rescue Effort with their pseudo-emo harmonies.
